What is a Worker?
A worker is a virtual resource that GeekBee uses to distribute resources between the websites we host. One worker contains 1 GB RAM, 250m CPU, and 25 GB SSD.
How many workers do I need?
Your worker usage depends on your visitor numbers.
One worker is enough for about 50.000 visits/month.
How does GeekBee auto-scaling work?
For example, you launch a new marketing campaign on your website that doubles your usual visitor’s number. The system notices that you are running out of RAM and allocates one more worker to your site in order to prevent any slowdowns.
If you have more visitors, you need more resources. If you used an extra worker for at least 1 hour in the month, we would charge $ 31 from your card next time. ( 29×1 worker + 1×2 worker = $ 31)
